I will continue to use Connectd because the whole experience involves joining a community of founders, advisors and investors. This means I can stay involved with the community, have access to NEDs and use the Connectd platform.
When I came across Connectd I was initially looking for help with my financial model. Although I have a good understanding of finances at a high level, I didn’t understand what investors and advisors wanted to see from a 5 year financial plan.
Connectd provided me with a comprehensive document, which I was able to showcase to investors, who were subsequently impressed with the standard and quality of the document. Completing this work with the team also helped me to understand the metrics I need to be looking for.
Utilising this documentation has also aided the development of my financial model because I was then able to understand these more as a whole. I would confidently say my skills have developed in a sense, as a result of joining the platform.
I've always found the team to be very responsive, especially if I ever had any concerns or queries. All of the team have gone above and beyond to ensure I was getting the most out of the platform. The team have also shared events and content to my ecosystem, which has definitely benefited me because I am reading more interesting articles relevant to me.

Accessible — really founder friendly, you engage with a lot of things that are not founder friendly these days and founders are so time poor in nature, the whole platform and helping hand membership has been designed to help founders. It is really easy to understand what the platform is going to do and to get in touch with people.
Friendly — very approachable, I enjoyed working with the whole team, they’re easy to talk to and good to work with. They’re also really appreciative of the fact that people are all going through completely different businesses and how that makes a difference.
Networking — by being part of something with other founders, you are constantly making new connections and growing your network which is so important in the startup world. The quote “It’s not what you know it’s who you know” falls into this and you get access to a big new network.
